Uoiauai Purplius Announces That he will not seek Reelection

As election season draws near, Uoiauai Purplius, the current Concretian President, has annouced that he will not seek reelection. He said this during an interview with the Infrastructural Daily:

"I will not seek reelection. Consider this - I'm 76. I am already lucky that my health is still good, but I don't think my physical condition will be good two years later. For this reason, I'm not seeking reelection."

He also endorses Noho Mo, the most popular Libertarian candidate by far. He described Noho Mo as "a strong, freedom-loving, and responsible leader".

Purplius has already expressed his concern for his health problems starting from a year ago. In his speech about the UPC, he said that "I will probably not live long enough to see the end of the war".

The election will happen a month later, and inauguration a week later.
