Civil War breaks out in The Empire of Red; Experts worried about the near future

A civil war broke out in the Empire of Red, between two main alliances, for and against the Red Empire Government. The alliances also broke into several factions, each fighting with each others. The Empire of Red is currently in a state if chaos.

How it begun

This all started when the Red government announced a law that would increase military strength, and establish a new government sector known as "The Ministry of Peace", that would manage warfare against nations further North. Pacifists soon protested against the government, which led to the death of 2 protectors. A rebellion soon followed, with military aid from The Redpublic, a long-time enemy of the empire.

Anti-Government Forces

The Revolutionary Clique, which was against the actions of the Redpublic, was formed. Though sharing many beliefs with the Redpublicans, the Revolutionaries have fought against the Redpublicans for a long time. The International Front split from the Revs (The Revolutionary Clique), due to the "lack of pacifism in the Revs". An extreme group also split from the Revs to form an Anarchist group.

Pro-Government Forces

The Ministry of Peace had disputes with the Military Department. The leader of the Ministry started a military coup against the government, proclaiming itself as the "Western Coup". The "National Army" is formed to replace the Ministry of Peace, but it split from the government as well. Clayistani troops soon formed alliances with the Red Empire Government, helping it in the civil war.

More Civil Wars?

As tension rises inside of more Metal Continents, experts warn of the dangers that would come later. Expert Big Chungus warns that "tension could rise in the Ish Union". Clayistan and the Loaman Empire have recently been active in the Ish Elections. This could cause yet another conflict. For now, the Reddish Civil War is still ongoing, with no clear winner.
