Earlier today, Loaman Empire leader Kaiser Loamo announced his decision of a mandatory military service. The response to this differs a lot from person to person, but the general population in the Loaman Empire seems to be positive about it.

This is the official statement from Kaiser Loamo regarding this decision:

Following the Forced Conscription Hundreds of officers and police officers would begin heading to minor, major, and capital cities, enlisting everyone they could who was male, some refused and would be arrested.

This means that the police force would start enlisting people into the military quickly. The emperor has claimed that he wanted a 300,000 size defensive army, and a 700,000 size offensive army and 500,000 in reserve. He disliked the military decline in recent years, and was hoping for thousands at a time to flock to become militants.

The Loaman Empire has been pacifist recently, maintaining neutrality in the cold war between the Union and the League. This new act will stay in effect until the loaman military has reached 300,000 men in the current army. This will be a drastic change in the Loaman stance.

He has said this as well in the announcement:

I suppose following the Red Situation, I have no idea who to support. I want to support the Empire of Red as I am anti-colonist but I also might support the Free Redpublic.

Since the Red Empire and the Free Redpublic mostly align on the same side of the conflict, this would mean that the Loaman Empire would secretly signal support towards the Empire. This is also true to other nations as well. Most members of the Union dislike the organization, but the Union's tyranny has stopped nations from leaving.

We hope the Loaman Empire the best.
