Soil Compass Lore

In the beginning, the world was lost. Not a square meter of clay, sand, loam, or silt could cover the face of the Earth. Asphalt, concrete, and other artificial substances had completely taken over. The world was choked by the iron fist of mankind. Humanity had forgotten to take care of their once fruitful planet. There was no hope left; no one powerful enough to defend the values that Mother Earth so desperately needed. That is when the bombs fell.

A small group of people, known as the United States Department of Agriculture, often simply referred to as USDA, had been working day and night to kickstart a last ditch attempt to restore their beloved planet to what it once was. For years, they had been manufacturing bombs of all sizes, some as large as the infamous Tsar Bomba. However, these were no ordinary bombs. They contained no explosive materials - on the contrary. These bombs were designed with one purpose: to reclaim the Earth, and Jerusoilem, the promised land. One day, the Four Soils shall see past their differences, and meet in the holy city. One representative from each House shall sit on the Grand Counsoil, and unite the Compass to achieve a Universal Union of Soils.

For now, the Compass is riddled in chaos, hatred, misunderstanding, and aggression.
